This 70mm f5.6 MC is a prime lens is a bit of a mystery.  It has had its front name ring removed so any branding is missing. It has also been fitted with a Minolta SR bayonet mount, though this is almost certainly not the lens' original mount. It does say "Made in Japan" on the rear of the barrel. It also has a non-automatic aperture (aperture stops down when ring is turned, even prior to exposure).  How this lens will perform on your Minolta is a great question.  Care to find out?
